Alex has a degree in international business, and before joining PLUSSED, she spent more than 10 years as a right hand and executive assistant in finance, which included wearing lots of hats—from planning elaborate international investor roadshows to office management, construction projects, hosting huge events, intricate calendar management, hiring, and everything in between!
While the variety of work was enjoyable, working in corporate world was less so, and like many, the pandemic shifted Alex’s thinking on what work/life balance should be. After becoming pregnant with her first child and buying a house upstate with her husband, the stars aligned and she transitioned into the nonprofit sector with her role at PLUSSED.
As PLUSSED’s chief of staff, Alex helps the team build processes, organize information and projects, create and confirm checklists, ensuring things run smoothly and creating a path for growth.
