Christina draws on over 15 years of experience as an educational leader, certified life coach, and licensed professional counselor to support personal and professional growth and organizational learning. Prior to entering the education field, she worked as a professional actor, theater teaching artist, and registered yoga teacher. This grounds her program development and facilitation in a whole-person approach that emphasizes the impact of emotional and social intelligence.
In her role as Director of Student Life at Riverdale, she directs the mental health counseling department and health programming for grades 6-12 and the performance coaching professional development program for faculty and administrators. Christina has a private practice as an ADHD coach at Hallowell Center NYC and she’s an instructor at Teachers College, Columbia University where she teaches graduate classes in cognitive science and performance coaching for the Klingenstein Center for School Leadership. Christina is currently a doctoral candidate in Organization & Leadership at Columbia University.
At PLUSSED, Christina specializes in designing programs that explore the role of executive functions and social emotional learning on learning, teaching and leading and programs that develop a coaching toolkit for school leaders.
