Michael Flanagan

After years freelancing in photography and commercial production, Michael founded Cheer Films in 2012. Since then, he has continued to build a multidisciplinary skill set spanning event production, cinematography, lighting design, directing, and writing.

With roots as a musician and Broadway orchestra member, Michael’s approach to storytelling is marked by a distinctive sense of rhythm. A diverse list of clients and collaborators—including Adobe, ESPN, and Con Edison—challenges him to continually rethink and refine his creative process.

Michael has worked closely with PLUSSED since its inception, developing award-winning videos that drive institutional advancement and community engagement.
